What's On at Our Next Meeting?
Tuesday, 20 July, 2010 at the Bairnsdale Bowls Club at 7.00 pm.
The
major feature of the July meeting will be a presentation by local
expert, Colin Laurence, on the use of computer methods in Astro-photography. Colin will demonstrate how he has developed
computer software, electronic control circuitry, and hardware, to
enable large telescopes to track the movement of celestial objects for
capturing sharp images with both still and video cameras. Colin is very
much a 'hands on' person and his achievements are 'mind blowing' as you
will find out at the meeting.
